The inspiration and design of the center and distinctive story of the Toyota Corolla—the car model built at this location, helps to tell the story of Toyota through the “Toyota Way” philosophy— two broad categories of continuous improvement and respect for human resources. The center highlights many revolutionary approaches in Toyota's manufacturing history and present-day stories through its local employees with personal connections to manufacturing the Corolla and Toyota's guiding principles. Throughout the experience, selective training and skills needed to work at the manufacturing plant are presented from interactive car painting to hands-on wire assembly.
